On Friday, 10th April 2026, the University of Nairobi hosted the final circuit of the Company Series Program, marking a significant milestone in preparing students for industry through practical engagement and professional development.
Mock Interviews: Bridging Classroom Learning and Industry Practice


The day began with an intensive mock interview session involving 75 students drawn from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science and Technology. The interviews were conducted by Human Resource professionals from Bureau Veritas, Decathlon Kenya, and Solargen Technologies Limited, with support from Marc Zolver, Foreign Expert – Industry Academia Cooperation at the University of Nairobi.
Through this session, students gained valuable real-life interview experience, including personalized feedback on their CVs and professional presentation. The interaction provided a unique opportunity for students to refine their communication skills, understand employer expectations, and enhance their readiness for the job market.
Closing Ceremony: Celebrating the 3rd Cohort

The afternoon session marked the official closing ceremony of the 3rd Cohort of the Company Series Program. The event was graced by George Ooko Abong’, Director of University Advancement; Siphila Wanjiku Mumenya; and Francis Nyongesa.
During the ceremony, over 100 students were celebrated for successfully completing the program, having gone through all its circuits, including:
- Job awareness and professional communication
- Transferable competences and skills
- Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and teamwork
- Climate change awareness
- Field visits
- Mock interviews and awards
The Company Series Program continues to play a critical role in bridging academia and industry by equipping students with practical skills, exposure, and professional networks.
